Terminal Manager

Job Description SUMMARY

Terminal Manager will be responsible for achieving individual hiring goals as measured on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the entire hiring process for each CDL driver applicant. This includes interviewing, reviewing and evaluating driver applications, reviewing and evaluating background investigations, determining if applicant is qualified, verify the drivers previous employment.

• Responsible for scheduling all new driver's drug and background screens and maintaining results in driver qualification file.

• Accountable for the driver throughout the entire employment.

Job Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma

• Recruiting / Sales experience is a plus.

• Must be a self - starter, creative thinker and problem solver.

• Must have excellent oral and written skills.

• Knowledge of the trucking industry.

• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

• Ability to conduct different types of interviews, organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong decision making skills.

• Candidate must be proficient with all MS Office software programs i.e. Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Experience with Applicant Tracking System preferred (Tenstreet a plus).
