Process final pay calculations and job coding for terminated Macy's retail employees. This include determining vacation and hours payout in accordance with the final pay states requirements, retirement eligibility and applying correct termination codes and reasons.
Perform other duties as assigned. This position is based out of Clearwater Florida.
Process and calculate pay for final pay termination for retail associates.
Interact with stores including store managers, HR executives and the stores administrative team.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum of six months supervisory experience and/or training.
Ability to read, interpret and communicate states policies/laws for final pay states.
Well organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment.
May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Must possess a strong sense of urgency.
Able to meet and prioritize various deadlines in a week.
Adaptable to change.
Must have exceptional customer service skills and strong problem solving abilities.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good analytical skills; good decision-making abilities; computer navigation and keyboarding skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
Schedule will be 10:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
