Teradata Developer

Position Summary

As an experienced Project Delivery Specialist II- Teradata Developer, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Works closely with Production Support teams, Platform teams and Business Partners.

• Handles technical aspects of the application, including Change Management, Maintenance, Platform Upgrades, and Changes to requirements from both upstream and downstream interfacing applications.

• Demonstrated data sourcing, data analysis and modeling skills with the ability to build innovative data provisioning models to support large scale financial crimes data sourcing initiatives.

• Work with a team of Data Analysts and Developers related to Data to ensure best practice and governance is followed.

• Promoting and applying best practices and standards at a project, program level.

• Responsible for developing complex requirements , enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications.

• Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the maintaining the application.

• Work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications.

• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of business requirements, business environments, and technological alternatives to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.

• Responsible for providing insight and direction from a data perspective, assessment of impact on technology systems and participation in the full development lifecycle of the capability being delivered

Our Core Technology Operations (CTO) team offers differentiated operate services for our clients with solutions to help organizations scale and optimize critical business operations, drive speed to outcome, deliver business transformation, and build resilience in an uncertain future.

Our operate services within CTO include:

Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement

Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products

Qualifications

Required

• 10 + years experience in Teradata 17.x , SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, Informatica 10.x UNIX Shell scripting, Autosys and Data analysis.

• 10+ years consulting experience

• Strong data sourcing, data modelling and provisioning skills as related to support large scale AML monitoring and surveillance data assets.

• Knowledge and experience working with SQL performance tuning

• IBM InfoSphere DataStage experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.

• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

• TDT -BT scripting

• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

• Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
