The Department of Occupational Therapy at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure-track position at open rank for faculty members. This appointment is for a 9-month contract beginning August 2025.
Candidates will work at a university engaged in providing quality higher education. This is a faculty position with teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities. The faculty member is primarily responsible for advising, mentoring, course development and instruction, course assessment, and other duties the OT Program Director assigns. This position requires significant contact with students, outside constituents, professional consortiums, and other OTD faculty, so interdisciplinary collaboration is expected and required. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to cultural diversity and the ability to work with individuals or groups from diverse backgrounds. In addition to strong academic qualifications and excellence in teaching, the University highly values experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment. Applicants must also be willing to engage in on-line instruction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICATION
A terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, OTD, DrOT)
A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist or eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois.
Documented content expertise in their area(s) of practice and potential teaching responsibilities.

Content delivery (e.g., in-person, distance learning, academic adjunct teaching, continuing education course(s), etc.)
While priority is given to candidates with expertise in research methodology, pediatrics, orthopedic hand therapy, assistive technology, neurology, and/or mental health, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
