JOB SUMMARY

Do you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in a job well done? Are you a strong team player with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our Tent Crew! As a tent crew worker, you will perform skilled tent installation, breakdown, and manual work as necessary to prepare for Cedars at Dungeness and 7 Cedars Hotel events. Ensures that safety standards and best practices are met and maintains a well-organized and clean operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Comply with department's safety regulations and best practices for the installation and breakdown of event tents

• Work alongside and receive guidance from the assisting Facilities Managers

• Responsible for timely installation of tents, and dance floors when applicable

• Assist with delivery of event equipment, tents, tables, and chairs when applicable

• Provide support with loading and unloading trucks

• Clean and maintains tent supplies and equipment

• Efficiently communicates with Banquet Manager to ensure proper event preparedness

• Adhere to the 7 Totems of Service and provides friendly customer service when interacting with Resort guests

• Must exercise confidentiality and discretion on a daily basis

• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

• Must follow all safety rules and regulations

• Follow all general and department policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and understand written instructions and procedures

• Ability to work without direct supervision

• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality

• Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner

• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests

• and/or team members

• Strong organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills

• Must be flexible with hours and days worked; mornings, nights, weekdays, weekends and Holidays
