JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

WPI's PracticePoint & BETC is seeking to hire temporary surgical assistants to assist with surgical tasks in acute pre-clinical in-vivo studies under the direct supervision of a Clinical Laboratory Specialist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties may include:

• anesthetic induction and management
• surgical site preparation
• performing basic surgical tasks such as achieving vascular access
• obtaining and processing of biological samples
• drug administration
• euthanasia
• and data collection
