Job Description

A temporary postdoctoral position is available in the McGraw laboratory at UMKC in the School of Science and Engineering. The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Applicant must have demonstrated expertise in mechanosensory hair cell biology using zebrafish as a model organism.

  • Necessary experience includes CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, zebrafish genotyping and mutant analysis, confocal microscopy, statistical analysis, manuscript preparation, and zebrafish handling.

  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The candidate must have proof of a recently defended Ph.D. in biology or a related field.
