Job Summary
The Center for National Security Initiatives (NSI) is seeking applications for a temporary research assistant to support the research and development of secure and resilient microelectronic ASICs. Successful applicants should have course work and research experience in microelectronics, semiconductor fabrication, integrated circuit design and tape out, semiconductor and electronic materials, device and solid-state physics, applied cryptography, space microelectronics, radiation hardening of electronics, or hardware security and assessments.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Work with the Principal Investigator of an ASIC prototyping project to research, design, and implement a workflow for the fabrication (tape out) of a microelectronic test circuit.
Assist in the development and completion of key research tasks.
Clearly and consistently document research plans, tasks, and results.
Prepare, attend, and deliver weekly progress reports with the Principal Investigator and the Project Sponsor.
Complete a final report.
Period of Performance: Up to 12 months.
What We Can Offer
An hourly pay rate of $25 - 30.
