Who you are.

This will be a full time, temporary role working from 8-3:30p M-F. In the role of Receptionist you will wear many hats and your focus will be crucial in the following:

  • Keeps our office looking beautiful, well organized, and optimized for our team.

  • Greets vendors, clients, job applicants, new employees and other visitors to the office in friendly and courteous manner.

  • Responds to incoming phone calls and routes calls appropriately.

  • Responds to routine and general questions and problems of incoming callers by determining the nature of the problem and responding directly with information.

  • Receives incoming mail, sorts and distributes and signs for packages and mail if needed.

  • Assists team in creating labels and shipping of FedEx, UPS and USPS packages.

  • Orders office supplies and ensures proper maintenance of office equipment.

  • Keep the office stocked and organized (with healthy snacks, coffee, and other necessary supplies). Requires moving supplies & stocking across multiple floors within our office space.

  • Coordinates catering services for meetings and events as requested.

  • Set up and breakdown of occasional onsite events and food deliveries.

  • Scans invoices to Accounting Department.

  • May support event planning for company meetings, outings, and other special events.

  • May assist Executive Assistant with special projects or expense processing.

  • Assists with special projects as requested.

What you bring to the team.

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in related discipline is a plus!

  • 0 2 years of professional work experience in an office environment.

  • General knowledge of FedEx and UPS tracking system preferred.

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic office applications.

  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.

  • Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities and anticipate needs.

  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver on the most critical assignments on time and within budget.

  • Works cross functionally with co-workers and with external vendors.

  • Must have a positive "can do" attitude, be a consummate team player, show excellent judgment as well as work well independently.

  • Strong sense of pace and urgency to ensure work is completed in the expected timelines.

  • Maybe be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
