Location Camden City Campus Department Adult Basic Skills Program Days and Hours Monday

• Thursday, 4pm-8:30pm Requisition Number Job Description

• Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Provide Mathematics instruction to adult learners who are enrolled in the ABS Program with instruction from the ABS Basic level through the Advanced level.

• Employ a hands-on approach to teaching that will allow learners to master math competencies including algebra and geometry.

• Administer and analyze pre and post-assessments to determine students' proficiency foundation and progress indicators as required.

• Comply with all safety, fire, and smoking regulations.

• Complete all mandatory compliance and safety training as scheduled by Human Resources.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Elementary Education or Mathematics.

• Minimum of 3 years teaching Adult Basic Skills or post-secondary education.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in teaching older youth and adults 16-27.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in teaching in a diverse and cultural setting.

• Demonstrated ability to provide instruction for Mathematics.

• Strong computer skills for instruction and academic assessment.
