A Temporary Medical Assistant contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to patients, people seeking testing or pharmacy patrons. Within their duties of accurately collecting new patient medical history, determining what tests/screenings are due during medical visits, taking patient vitals and documenting all patient health-related complaints, this position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF, encourage clients to continue to seek medical treatment from an AHF Healthcare Center, recommend our services to others and have expertise in clinical management.

By communicating with patients between provider visits for condition updates, and follow through on test/procedures ordered by providers, the Temporary Medical Assistant can help ensure the patient is receiving the highest quality of care.

The Temporary Medical Assistant can enhance the experience of other members of the Healthcare Center staff, by lending a helpful hand when needed, and thinking of their role as collaborative, rather than exclusive. In addition, providing feedback to the Medical Director about how service could be improved will allow the team members to enhance their contribution.

The Temporary Medical Assistant adds consistent value to the Healthcare Center Team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.

This is a position for a real self-starter with proven customer support experience, eager to solve tech problems. The Specialist is a player on a team of 5 specialists supporting nearly 500 passionate staff in our Philadelphia office. The key responsibility in this role will be to analyze incident trends and implement solutions to help elevate the team's already high quality service level. POSITION DUTIES * Troubleshoots questions and issues in a quick, courteous and professional manner. * Uses Service Now incident management system to log and track customer technical issues. * Debugs basic network-related and software glitches. * Analyzes incident reports and recommends solutions to improve the team's performance. * Researches and develops technical support best practices that will help build a knowledge management repository to share across the organization. * Completes project tasks in a timely and efficient manner while using sound judgment and decision-making. * Participates on internal projects and serves as a customer advocate in a team environment. REQUIREMENTS * A minimum of 3 years of help desk experience. * Experience with Office 365 required. Familiarity with transition from prior Office products to Office 365 preferred, but not required. * Confident using Microsoft office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Any experience with Pareto charts and other statistical tools would be beneficial, but not required. * Thrives in a team environment fixing a variety of technical issues. * Verifiable confidence communicating within all levels of the organization. * Demonstrated experience to effectively set and manage internal/external customer expectations. * Solid experience using an incident management workflow system, such as Remedy or Footprints. Experience with Service Now is highly beneficial, but not required. * Experience supporting Adobe applications, OneNote, InContact, iPads, or Vonage would be beneficial, but not required.
