Position Overview

While working in a dynamic and fast-paced call center environment, the Call Center Representative responds to customer inquiries via phone and/or email providing the appropriate and timely response and entering relevant data into the system. Our customer base includes students, parents, and other consumers purchasing, renting, and selling course materials in the K-12 and/or higher education markets. This is a long-term (up to 3 months) temporary position with a flexible schedule!

Responsibilities

  • Ability to Deliver outstanding customer service by following our contact handling guidelines via phone and/or email to address customer concerns.

  • Explain processes, policies, and procedures to customers as needed.

  • Able to leverage and use resources to research and resolve issues and resolve issues that may not be clearly defined.

  • Identify and handle escalations properly.

  • Process orders and provide status updates.

  • Take ownership of contacts and follows-through until the matter is closed.

  • Communicate with Follett internal customers for assistance.
