Working Title: Temporary Fluoride Consultant

This specialized position monitors and records the fluoridation status of the state and works directly with local water treatment plants, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), and national water fluoridation experts at the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Communicate with water treatment plants/partners
Manage data for fluoridation and dental health
Prepare technical reports
Act as liaison with the Department of Environmental Quality
Evaluate and update the State Fluoridation Plan
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requirements include knowledge of statistical and research theory, of sources of data, of data management, and visual representation of data. Skilled in computer programs, such as Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Ability to produce and maintain accurate data, to write technical reports and to communicate both orally and in writing to various audiences including local, state and national partners.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in data management.
If education, certification or licensure is required to meet qualifications, applicants must provide documentation at the time of interview.
