Temporary Coordinator, Global Programs and Field Engagement
UNICEF USA seeks a temporary coordinator to support all the Global Programs and Field Engagement Department. The Global Programs and Field Engagement Department connects UNICEF USA to UNICEF programs worldwide, providing program information, proposal and report development; managing field visits and engagements; and building staff capacity about UNICEF.
Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but are not limited to):
Serving as the support hub for the department, tracking deliveries and supporting with service desk requests
Field visit planning: supporting administrative and logistical aspects of field visits; drafting briefing materials for participants; updating participants with key information concerning trip; supporting management of financial payments related to trip
Supporting planning and coordinating panel discussions for colleagues and donors on trip; coordinating with other departments to leverage media assets and experiences from field visits to spread awareness and mobilize funds
Assisting with the facilitation of strategic engagements and educational opportunities with key UNICEF colleagues, includes staff briefings, donor calls and private donor engagements
Assisting with fact checking for the organization
Supporting learning opportunities to ensure staff are empowered to speak on UNICEF USA priority campaigns and thematic areas; assisting in the creation of content, decks, talking points, and any additional supplementary materials for staff trainings
Providing support in preparing reports, letters of intent, briefs, acknowledgments, presentations, and other communications for submission to donors and other potential funding sources in a timely manner for specific thematic and/or cross-cutting programmatic areas in UNICEF
Assisting with special projects for the division, as needed
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years' related experience with relevant work experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, both written and verbal
Proven ability to prioritize; work independently; handle multiple, complex tasks simultaneously; and to generate pragmatic solutions to challenges
Strong customer service approach to interactions with colleagues and partners; ability to navigate complex environments, and help build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Strong organizational and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability and enthusiasm to further UNICEF USA's mission
Must demonstrate UNICEF USA Core Values: Trust, Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork, and Service
Must possess current and valid US Work Authorization and be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
