The Opportunity

Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring Temporary Commissary Managers to join our team to work the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. The dates of availability needed are leading up to and during the event, May 15, 2024 - May 19, 2024, for the Men's PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. Travel and hotel accommodations will be paid for by Delaware North.

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $55300 - $74600 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the team

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols

  • Maintain the efficiency of existing processes and procedures

  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget

  • Effectively manage event staff to their potential

  • Regularly report to leadership on areas to be improved, successes, and the overall state of your department as it relates to the event

  • Operate a company golf cart

Qualifications

  • Minumum of 2 years of proven experience in an operations management position.

  • Strong development and oversight skills

  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control

  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience working in the hospitality industry

  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
