Temporary Buyer / Planner needed in Lincolnton, NC

Length of Contract: 6 months

Pay: $19.25/hr

The Buyer/Planner is responsible for material availability as it applies to sustaining the manufacturing lines, continuous process improvement, cost out, new product introduction and transfers of work. This role also supports the materials team in achieving business objectives such as price deflation, inventory turnover and customer on time delivery.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for reviewing material planning requirements (MRP) and purchasing activities for select suppliers and assigned parts in support of Production, non-production and/or After Market business

  • Maintain PO due dates and quantity changes daily and communicate changes

  • Reschedule POs as needed to meet production needs

  • Develop projects to meet company inventory and deflation goals

  • Create and compile performance reports for suppliers and service for Business Units and suggest plans to achieve performance objectives

  • Setup and monitor Kanban and/or other systems to maintain material flow to production lines

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma

  • Must have a minimum of 4-6 years practical experience in forecasting, MRP and MPS.

  • Experience with ERP systems including inventory planning and purchasing

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Effective communications skills with ability to work across multiple organizational functions

  • Work independently and is self-motivated

  • Experience in Distribution & Manufacturing operations

  • Experience with packaged ERP Software (Oracle Prefered)

  • Experience with Purchasing and Trade regulations

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Excellent teamwork skills ability to work in cross-functional groups, preferably multi-national

  • Detail-oriented

Essential Functions * Responsible for daily supervision of multidisciplinary clinical team and oversight of the team's administrative support to include provision of coaching and counseling as required to ensure compliance with clinical scope of practice and standards * Provides clinical administrative support, clinical expertise to meet patient and staff needs and functions as the liaison with physician practices and hospital case management and other referral sources * Assures staffing/resource management is appropriate and assigned timely to meet patient needs and per agency policy to include documentation standards, productivity and clinical standards of practice * Analyzes the data to prioritize multi-issue situations to support appropriate actions based on the criticality of patient health and welfare, patient/staff safety and impact to effective, timely services * Identifies barriers to situation/complaint resolution (i.e. language, literacy, psychological, etc) and follows-up with the appropriate resources or leadership to address timely and effectively * Reviews and supports the development of patient specific clinical plans of care that is effectively communicated with the parties involved and supports quality patient outcomes and patient satisfaction * Supports clinical staff in the implementation of the identified plan, coordination of care delivery, and strategies to promote health and safe outcomes * Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes through documentation review, interdisciplinary team meetings and/or case conference * Supports billing compliance and timeliness by maintaining current knowledge of payer requirement and billing criteria, state and federal regulations, performing timely completion of CSC workflow and identifying opportunity for appropriate reimbursement * With minimal supervision, delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles * Collaborates with healthcare consumer, family, and others in the conduct of clinical practice.
