Temporary Adult Education Hourly Teacher, Cna-Nursing Instructor #19

• A current California RN or LVN license is required. • Must hold or meet the qualifications to obtain California Designated Subjects Teaching Credential for Adult Education. (See www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/CREDS/adult-voc-ed.html) • Resume showing work experience

• Two years of nursing experience (RN or LVN) * One year verifiable experience as a licensed nurse providing care and services to chronically ill or elderly patients in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility, home care, hospice care, or other long-term care setting. • Completion of a course in teaching adults (attach certificate of completion) OR 1 year of verifiable experience in teaching adults OR 1 year of verifiable experience supervising nurse aides. • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution Salary:

• Per EMUEA - AE Bargaining Agreement Job Description: Conduct theory and clinical instruction for Nurse Assistant students.

• Credential Copy (Please attach a copy of your credential, must hold or meet the qualifications to obtain California Designated Subjects Teaching Credential for Adult Education and a Director of Staff Development Certificate and meet the qualifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant Director)

• Letter of Introduction (Please address your letter to Robin Torres, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. Include an explanation of your training and experiences as they relate to the position and explain why you are interested in being considered for this position.)

• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Please include three (3) current letters of recommendation/reference. Your letters should be dated within the last three years.)
