OverviewThis is a temporary, part-time position (25-30 hours per week) based out of our Bonney Road location in Virginia Beach, VA. This position will directly support our Mortgage Sales team.

Provides routine administrative support to nonexecutive employees for a department or administrative unit. Under close supervision, performs a variety of routine administrative duties in accordance with specific instructions and established work procedures. Follows written and verbal instructions to accomplish assignments of a routine and repetitive nature such as sorting and filing correspondence, cards, invoices, receipts or other records.

Maintains simple files, posting records, compiling minor sttistical data, making and checking routine calculations, proof reading, and completing forms and checking for accuracy. Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports. Work generally requires a broad working knowledge of departmental and company practices, policies, programs, and product line.

Uses common computer programs for word processing and spreadsheets, and may use databases and graphics and desktop publishing applications. ResponsibilitiesPrincipal

Responsibilities:
Manages routine processes in respective department or assigned by management.

Researches and obtains information for routine reports and special assignments. Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary. Investigates assigned problems using established company or department policies and practices to determine method of research, data and information requirements and analysis techniques.

Prepares and proofreads letters, reports and other correspondence. Operates general office equipment such as personal computer, copier, calculator, fax or other office machines. Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review. QualificationsCandidate Education:Required High School diploma or equivalent Candidate Experience:Required 1 or more years administrative and/or customer service experience

Act as one of the office liaisons in communication with the corporate management. In this position, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support on a day to day basis. This includes clear communication and discrete handling of confidential information. Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks * Function as liaison among the Vice President of Sales and Director of Area Development Sales * Maintain Calendars-arrange, coordinate and prioritize complex scheduling and logistics * Assist and prepare internal and external communication * Coordinate and monitor information needed from/sent to Area Developers * Arrange (including selection of date, time and location) internal and external meetings * Compile reports and analyze data * Process expense reports * Arrange special meeting facilities; send meeting confirmation emails; prepare and distribute meeting materials * Other duties as assigned * Assist in Area Development territory sales * Use various Liberty Tax Service internal systems to register prospects for seminars * Provide a market overview that is specific to the prospects' area of interest * Obtain necessary approvals for new sales * Compile and submit documents to new franchisees and review the returned necessary paperwork before sending to the legal department Position Qualifications * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent organizational skills * Highly self-motivated and goal oriented * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Effectively research projects and present findings * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and internal applications. * Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan, prioritize and organize multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Physical Demands and Work Environment Position requires working at a desk at the corporate office for periods of time up to eight hours.
