THE JOB / Temporary Account Executive, Home Improvement Client

We're searching for a Temporary Account Executive to support the planning and execution of our client's sponsorship activation of The Home Depot Backyard. The Home Depot Backyard is an 11-acre greenspace outside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium that serves as a tailgating fan fest on Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United game days, and serves as a unique gathering spot for cultural inclusivity in the Heart of Atlanta on non-game days. You'll work closely with the Account Manager and our day-to-day client to plan for game days, coordinate logistics with third party vendors and oversee game day staffing. You'll also support other account projects as needed, including periodic travel out of market to assist with event execution. If you consider yourself extremely detail oriented and highly organized; and you love to travel and are comfortable interacting with the public at sporting events, this opportunity is for you. This assignment will run until January 2019, with the potential to turn into a full time role.


  • Assist with the planning and execution of game day activation at Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United games

  • Attend all Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United home games throughout the 2018/2019 season

  • Develop and foster excellent working relationships with clients and agency partners

  • Participate in regular calls with client, partners and internal staff

  • Create invites, coordinate communication and manage on-site setup of hospitality space for client customers

  • Prepare key business documents for all parties (i.e. client, onsite staff, properties and vendor partners) involved with each program/event, as well as recap documents and end of year wrap-up report

  • Update and maintain status reports, administrative documents, budgets

  • Assist in management of 15 game/event day personnel

  • Diligently keep an accurate inventory of activation items

  • Facilitate vendor relationships and payment processing

  • Procure insurance and other required permits

  • You have a passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 1 year of experience in a related field

  • We consider experience working on game days with fans, working with large venues to stage events, and/or working on corporate hospitality a plus

  • You have excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Your written and verbal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally are superb

  • You can manage multiple projects at one time and know how to prioritize tasks

  • You're calm under pressure and know how to come up with solutions quickly

  • Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are very strong

  • You love to travel

  • You have an upbeat and energetic personality, with a "pitch-in and roll up your sleeves" attitude
