Template/Programming Technician

We are seeking an organized, confident team member to learn how to digitally measure countertops for custom manufacturing to join our team! The person in this position will be responsible for the accurate measuring of countertops and/or cabinetry, utilizing tools such as a laser and user friendly Auto CAD based system to complete these tasks. The position requires self motivation and a detail oriented person. No prior experience needed, new team members will learn the skills and knowledge necessary.

Responsibilities include:

·         Create accurate construction drawings by measuring/templating for use in fabrication of stone slab countertops.

·         Evaluate job site for any hindrances to the installation and completion of countertop installation

·         Finalize design aspects of job with customer during template

·         Exhibits a level of customer service consistent with Weaver Stone Company standards.

·         Comfortable using all different types of measuring devices – including tape measure, level, laser level lines

·         Ability to perform simple math functions, including use of fractions.

·         Reliable Transportation, good driving record, and Valid Driver's License. Some travel involved

·         Construction experience, drafting experience, countertop experience, kitchen and bath experience and/or cabinetry experience are desirable but not required!
