Responsible for ensuring that the parts, supplies, and services needed by the operational area are available in order to fulfill work orders and requests in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Order parts as needed to maintain established levels.
Assist Tradesworkers and other internal customers when distributing and/or receiving returned parts and tools.
Ensure that all the equipment and parts required are delivered in a timely manner/or available.
Receive incoming supplies and place into the proper storage area. Verify receipts with the proper PO's, checking for any discrepancies in pricing or nomenclature.
Receive stock order products and label parts using bar-code system.
Purge material/supplies of expired items.
Requires any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from high school/GED and six months of experience in purchasing, warehousing, record keeping or inventory related experience.
Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Work hours and days will vary to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Up to 29 hours a week. Must be able to work any job assignment scheduled. 3% shift differential will be paid for hours worked during second shift.
