JOB SUMMARY:The Suite Guest Room Attendant cleans suites in their assigned area with the intention of removing all evidence of previous guests. He/She ensures all amenities are present and displayed in the appropriate manner. Responsible for providing friendly, courteous service to guests every time while cleaning guest rooms in their assigned area with the intention of removing all evidence of previous guests. Suite Attendants ensure all amenities are present and displayed in the appropriate manner. Suite Attendants are required to complete 14 credits each day and maintain an inspection score of 90% or better. Also, must display a strong commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of our Service Standards, Safety & Accident Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaning rooms includes making beds, dusting, vacuuming carpet, moping tile, removing all trash, disinfecting sinks, tubs, toilets. Clean windows, mirrors, glass table tops. Wipe down all keyboards, televisions, alarm clocks, telephones, etc.Complete turndown service as assigned.Obtain necessary cleaning supplies from supply room. Change vacuum bags.Maintain work areas and carts in a clean and safe manner.Guard against theft of privileged information.Secure and return key at end of shift.Turn in all Lost and Found items to security in a timely manner.Perform all job duties safely using personal protective equipment.Comply with all department policies/procedures and service guarantees.Attend all training classes as requested.Attend and participate in pre-shift department meetings.Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods of time.

  • Work requires attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect their own work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout the work day.

  • The physical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift.

  • The physical ability to climb stairs, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.

  • The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above the shoulders with both arms.

  • The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping.

  • The physical ability to push, pull, and lift various furniture items such as mattresses, end tables, chairs, ottomans, lamps, and tables.

  • The physical ability to tolerate any required personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, safety goggles, and other protective equipment deemed appropriate on a continuous basis.

  • Ability to safely operate motorized equipment

  • Attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.

  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule

Working Conditions

Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to lift 35-50lbs repeatedly, and handle sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner.

THE ASSIGNMENT IS TEMPORARY AND EMPLOYMENT WILL NOT BE EXTENDED BEYOND THE 2 DAY EVENT. Job Summary: Provides friendly, excellent service to every guest while dealing poker at a citywide marketing event, or special invitational tournament. Essential Job Functions: * Provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players. * Deals and runs the game at hand in accordance with departmental procedures. Must be able to deal No Limit Texas Holdem * Maintains the pace of the poker game. * Enforces the rules of the poker game. Qualifications: Greet and welcome guests, establishes rapport, and provides excellent customer service. A friendly, outgoing personality and excellent English-language verbal communication skills are essential. Provide excellent service consistent with the property's core service standards and brand attributes. Maintain the speed of the games by continually moving the action as necessary. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must have recent poker dealing experience. WSOP-experience preferred but not required. As this is a temporary position, you must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift. Additional Requirements: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Must reside in the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area or within a 100 mile radius. * Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Control license/registration. (Applicants who are successfully hired for this position will receive further instruction on this requirement) Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands: Must be able sit and/or stand long periods of time. Must be able to maneuver to work inside and continuously maneuver in and around assigned poker tables during entire shift, with regular interval breaks. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast pace environment. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must be able to memorize game rules and procedures. Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets. Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money. Must have excellent vision (including peripheral) to protect the games. Must be able to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area.
