About the Role

As a Social Media Analyst, you will combine your passion for creative marketing solutions with a strong analytical approach. Your focus is on delivering the best-performing campaigns, and you are results-driven, and unafraid to make changes for better outcomes. Your analytical skills will be proactively utilized in your work, and you possess a high level of business sense, communication skills, and professionalism. You will regularly interact with internal project teams and external clients.

You will join our team based in the US and work closely with both the local team and the team located in our Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise across different campaigns, including measurement and analytics of both organic and paid campaigns, influencer measurement and analytics, channel optimization, and reporting

  • Work across multiple client accounts to ensure the best delivery and results in various campaigns

  • Continuously provide insights to internal teams and clients based on data analysis of campaigns

  • Plan and achieve campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within set budgets

  • Benchmark and measure influencer marketing activities

  • Conduct weekly and monthly data/intelligence reviews with project teams, providing strategic recommendations for continual improvement in campaign and influencer performance

  • Translate strategic recommendations for digital experiences into actionable items

  • Collaborate with organic social and other paid media account leads to ensure alignment of strategies across all channels

  • Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies

  • Utilize social media marketing tools

  • Conduct extensive audience and platform research to inform Paid Social strategies for clients

  • Process, analyze, and understand conversations in digital channels to identify key insights or brand opportunities

  • Experience in monitoring digital and social crises

  • Collaborate with other team members on research, campaign creation, and optimization efforts

  • Support clients and team members on non-social paid media initiatives when needed by the department.

About You

The essentials:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing role, creating paid media strategies

  • Experience managing paid search and social budgets, from conceptual planning to tactical recommendations, across various platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok

  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibilities

  • Comfortable managing client communication without requiring involvement from an account manager

  • Understanding of Database languages and underlying technologies (desired)

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet tools (Google Sheets preferred)

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
