Upon arrival, unless your condition requires being seen by a Doctor or Physician s Assistant immediately, you will be promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of your condition and the appropriate course of treatment. Our Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital is fully staffed around the clock and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year. MINIMUM 3 months previous travel experience REQUIRED - NON-NEGOTIABLE (more is preferred) Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.

RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Traveler must be willing to work holidays, including weekends before (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved. The hospital is celebrating its 105th anniversary in 2019, and offers 24-hour emergency care, general surgery services, a hospitalist program, and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including an Adult Day Program, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation services.
  
  Medical specialties include ear, nose and throat; orthopaedics and sports medicine; cosmetic & reconstructive surgery, urology and psychiatry. Specialty clinics for cardiology, medical oncology, and infusion services are provided in collaboration with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Cheshire Hospital.
