We are growing and need a motivated operator, ready to learn quickly and contribute substantially to meeting our daily production goals. In this role you will perform both manual and computer-assisted product assembly steps. This position requires manual dexterity and attention to detail as you build and test precision lens assemblies.
Specific responsibilities include:
Preparing small optical components for subsequent assembly, including inspection, die sort and cleaning.
Performing manual assembly steps in a cleanroom work station to build optical subsystems with precision and care to ensure quality.
Operating computer-based assembly, test and inspection equipment to meet production and quality goals.
Maintaining a clean work area including safe handling hazardous chemicals (solvents, acids, etc.), removing trash, minimizing dust and surface contaminants.
Collaborating with engineers and support development efforts by processing wafers and components as instructed.
Performing other duties as required

You are a US citizen or permanent resident with appropriate educational background.
You have proven computer proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as some web-based applications.
You are physically active, can lift and move loads up to 30 pounds, and are comfortable working on your feet for 3-5 hours per shift or sitting for 4-8 hours daily.
You have passion for getting the job done, and are willing to work day or evening shift as required, including some overtime.
Perform duties in a clean room environment, which requires special protective-outer garments (provided by the company) to maintain cleanliness in the workspace. Area will be temperature controlled (average temperature 70-degrees F).
