Usually Monday-Friday from 8:45 am – 5:45 pm and Alternating Saturdays from 8:45 am - 12:15 pm. Fill in for other shifts as required. Exemption Type:
Non-Exempt Salary: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour depending on qualifications Department : Teller Reports To: Compliance and Teller Manager Summary The Teller position is an integral part of Texas Health Credit Union’s success. This position primarily focuses on teller functions while also assisting with other department/credit union tasks as required.
This position works both in the lobby and in the drive-thru. Daily tasks may be completed in-person, by telephone, e-mail and/or other written communication as appropriate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Main Functions:
Provide exceptional member service to current and potential credit union members. Maintain working knowledge of all credit union products and services. Assist with account and product inquiries.
Post various types of transactions and balance cash drawer accurately and efficiently. Scan, verify and shred documents. Participate in credit union events.
Follow all applicable rules and regulations. Other Duties as Assigned: Assist the Compliance/Teller Manager with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Required. Experience: Minimum 6 months Cash Handling Experience Required.
Prior Teller Experience Preferred. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills through in-person, telephone, e-mail and written communications. Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.
Data entry skills. Physical Requirements: Must have the ability/stamina to work 40 hours per week.
Requires the following as necessary: Sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing , pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20 lbs. and repetitive motions.
