Job Description

The TD Bank Teller I processes Customer transactions face-to-face for a variety of routine to more complex financial transactions including but not limited to check cashing, withdrawals, and deposits. This job is responsible to balance cash drawers and assists Customers with basic product information. Teller I have responsibility to assist in exceeding service goals by minimizing Customer wait times and accurately and efficiently processing Customer transactions while providing legendary Customer Service in addition to recognizing referral opportunities.


  • Provides exceptional Customer service by meeting all Customer demands as they relate to relatively straightforward inquiries, with the support of more experienced personnel.

  • Generally resolves problems independently, escalating more difficult issues to management.

  • Processes regular Teller transactions for Customers including servicing Customer accounts, accepting loan payments, accepting safe deposit box payments, processing sales of gift cards, cashing checks, verify currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits, correct discrepancies and make necessary adjustments. Balance Automated Teller machines (ATMs) and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/ Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) as necessary.

  • Adheres to safe deposit box procedures/ operations and guidelines.

  • Establishes and solidifies Customer relationships by providing legendary Customer Service based on Guiding Principles, CWI, Think SMART and WOW! Shop criteria.

  • Educates and engages Customers in conversations regarding their current and future financial needs and educates Customers about Bank products and services.

  • Expected to service both lobby and drive-thru Customers.

  • May assist in the preparation and development of the Stores Sales Plan. Recognizing referral opportunities and initiating.

  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.


  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 1 year related experience preferred.

  • Superior Customer service skills.

  • General Math skills.

  • Detail orientated and able to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.

20 hours// weekend//bilingual

Check vital sign, administer immunizations, blood tests, and urine drug screens. * Maintains the medical surveillance program and associated medical records. Orders laboratory tests, x-ray studies and other diagnostic services, as necessary, in order to determine job performance capabilities and to rule out communicable diseases. Assess workers comp patients and refers claims to Leave Management for administration. * Provide first care treatment for minor Illnesses and injuries of Nemours Associates. Initiates and tests for exposures to blood borne pathogens, body fluid and Infectious disease exposure protocols and provides follow up care in accordance with Nemours policies. * Prepares and maintains all related health service records in accordance with policies and procedures. * Provides first aid treatment for Job-related and non-job-related Workplace Injuries. May monitor and evaluate the patient as needed. * Evaluates employees desiring to return to work who do not fall under FMLA guidelines (following written consent to return to work from their personal physicians) in order to determine any medical limitations. Coordinates employee return to work requirements with Leave Management. * Advise Associates with issues such as substance abuse, psychosocial needs, wellness/health promotion concerns and other health or work-related concerns. Utilizes the Employee Assistance Program to assist Associates with dependencies and/or other behavioral issues and stress. * Ensures appropriate medical inventory levels by ordering and stocking supplies, medications and vaccines as necessary. * Contribute, maintains and delivers wellness programs that provide education and continuing health improvement. Performs ergonomic assessments and screens for current conditions. * Delivers nursing services, including but not limited to mass flu vaccinations, TB skin testing, T-dap injections and Respiratory program testing as needed for Nemours Associates. * Additional duties and responsibilities may include filing/scanning medical charts, entering documentation and data into ReadySet EMR System, preparing monthly summary reports, monitoring compliance and compiling data to support monthly reports. May also be asked to participate in committee and leadership meetings as requested or needed.
