Your role as a customer service contact is paramount in accomplishing FirstBank's primary goal: to provide outstanding customer service. You will process personal and commercial transactions, provide fast and friendly customer service and have an opportunity to learn a variety of other duties. Career advancement possibilities from this position include Lead Branch Representative and Branch Supervisor.

Additional pay increase may apply for individuals bilingual in Spanish and English.

Requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels and light to heavy traffic. An individual in this position:

  • Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day

  • Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms

  • Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights

  • Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files

  • Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information

Work Hours Will Include Saturdays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Demonstrate Bellco WOW philosophy in all interactions with members, prospective members and personnel in other Bellco departments 2. Communicate with members in a positive manner both in person and/or by telephone 3. Practice Bellco service standards in all interactions with members, prospective members and personnel in other Bellco departments 4. Deepens member relationships by cross-selling products and services 5. Contribute to corporate and branch goals and support current business priorities 6. Demonstrate remote access financial service devices including TELLERphone, automated teller machines and Personal Account Manager terminals 7. Access member accounts to accurately perform the following non-lending service transactions, for example: Maintain a cash drawer Post deposits to accounts Process cash advance transactions. Order member checks Issue official checks Redeem bonds Process loan payments Transfer funds between accounts Assist with branch balancing, branch operations and ATM balancing Process money orders Process traveler's checks Process miscellaneous negotiable items. 8. Regular and punctual attendance. Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.
