Our Telesales role is designed to develop and demonstrate your sales skills.
A Telesales Representative with ECI BuildTools is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads by setting appointments for Account Executives. This individual will be a highly motivated self-starter, developing and working off of calling lists of companies in the Custom Homebuilding and Remodeler industry. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!
You will be responsible for calling into small and mid-sized residential construction businesses to uncover opportunities for our cloud-based construction management solution, BuildTools. You will set appointments and develop leads for Account Executives. To use a fishing metaphor-you hook 'em and the Account Executives reel them in!
Responsibilities
Comfortable making numerous cold calls per day
Ability to demonstrate product value quickly
Develop new business appointments via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media
Comfortable taking coaching and feedback as well as participating in training
Provides accurate data entry and sales reporting (using Salesforce)
Ability to have a daily agenda and focus on goals
Able to listen and build rapport with prospects through phone conversations
Ability to handle objections and rejections
Follow-ups with appointments that do not hold
Capable of meeting monthly sales targets and goals
Recognizes that "NO" really means - Next Opportunity
Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience
Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
Excellent client service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated track record of goal achievement and leadership ability.
Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
This position offers a generous base salary and monthly incentives for appointments held.
