The Telephony Engineer will be responsible for supporting the BCBSMA Telephony applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate needs to have 3 - 5 years of related experience. The person filling this role will be a member of the Call Center Technology and Operations team, responsible for all aspects of the following Telephony platforms: Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Finesse, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Unity, Cisco Emergency Responder, Expressway Core and Edge, CUBE/Voice Gateways and familiar with SIP Trunking. Firsthand knowledge of Verint 360 Suite or comparable platform (Call Recording/Quality Monitoring, Speech Analytics, Workforce Management) is recommended.

This role is eligible for our Flex persona.

Technical Experience:

  • Self-starter with proven analytical skills required to be successful in this role

  • Experience in a production support role, troubleshooting problems and managing outages

  • Hands-on design, and development experience with following products is a must: Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Finesse, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Unity, Cisco Emergency Responder, Expressway Core and Edge, CUBE/Voice Gateways and familiar with SIP Trunking

  • Firsthand knowledge of Verint 360 Suite or comparable platform (Call Recording/Quality Monitoring, Speech Analytics, Workforce Management) is plus.

Communication and Leadership style:

  • Ability to deliver results by demonstrating integrity and active listening

  • Creative problem solver with a focus on attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communicator with an overall positive approach

  • Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving environment.

  • Willingness to work beyond core business hours, when necessary, to minimized business interruption during planned or unplanned situations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

  • 3 - 5 years of work experience within Information Technology

  • 5 years of hands-on experience delivering Cisco's Advanced Telephony Suite

  • Experience with design and implementation of applications and SDLC practices

Salary Range: $83,610.00 - $102,190.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
