Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve/post billing records from/to various sources

  • Maintain and distribute billing records to customers

  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the University Switchboard

  • Maintain a working knowledge of University departments and employees

  • Train new student switchboard operators

  • Maintain Department Inventory database

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Demonstrated experience working with Word, Excel and Access (for full consideration, Microsoft Office Testing is required by March 15, 2019; see "Additional Information" section below for instructions)

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of quality customer service

  • Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities

Job Summary This position is responsible for the delivery of rehabilitative services including community living skills training, recreation/socialization services, pre-vocational skills development, client and family supportive and educational assistance. Positions Supervised None Essential Functions * Participate in initial screening to evaluate appropriateness of clients referred for PSR services. * Participate in development of clients individual treatment plan. * Provide transportation to and from community facilities and resources.. * Provide daily living skills training including assistance in nutrition, financial and home management, accessing community resources, recreation, pre-vocational services, development of support systems, diagnosis and medication management, etc. . * Provide crisis intervention services for clients enrolled in PSR services as needed. * Monitor and assist client with program compliance. * Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards. Non Essential Functions * Maintain compliance with all policy and procedures. * Complete all required training. * Work cooperatively with other departments and members of the community. * Participate in all required meetings as determined by supervisor. * Maintain positive attitude toward agency and clientele. * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications BA/BS/BSW in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation and Counseling or closely related field, or; Associates Degree and two years of Mental Health or Substance abuse experience, or; Four years of delivery of treatment to those with Mental Health or Substance Abuse Disorders. Relevant mental health experience preferred. Must work flexible schedule which includes some weekends and evenings. Physical Requirements General Physical Requirements Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. Physical Activities * Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. * Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time. * Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. * Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling. Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and make fine discriminations in sound. * Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Visual Activities The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
