Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls from patients/families, the community, and internal hospital staff and connecting callers to providers, teams, and resources throughout the organization. Telephone Operators model Seattle Children's core values by providing excellent, quality customer experiences for Seattle Children's patients/families, the community, and clinic partners.

Telephone Operators provide information and customer service to families using critical thinking skills to best determine a caller's request and where to route the call within the organization. Telephone Operators demonstrate empathy, high attention to detail, effective communication, and commitment to teamwork. Staff in this role communicate frequently with our many partners, both internal to and outside our organization. Telephone Operators use multiple software applications to efficiently process calls, to deliver communications for all hospital emergencies, and to maintain on-call schedules for clinical teams.


Required Education/Experience: - High School graduate or equivalent experience

  • Basic computer skills

  • Previous experience answering high volume telephone lines

  • Previous work or volunteer experience interacting with the public in a customer service capacity Required Credentials: - N/A Preferred: - An Associates Degree or higher

  • Prior hospital or healthcare experience

VIEW JOBS 9/26/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-12-25T00:00 <p>We have a great work opportunity to join us as a Drill<strong> Operator/Locator</strong> in WestWashington.</p><p>We are offering an opportunity to put your experience in <strong>Directional Boring</strong>, to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, and do so for one of the fastest-growing construction companies in the US.<br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Operates Horizontal Directional Drilling/Boring equipment and vehicles for installation of underground telecommunications cable conduit, including fiber optic cable;</li><li>Loading and transporting materials and equipment to various job site locations;</li><li>All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to loading, digging removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of construction materials and equipment;</li><li>Locate utilities with locating systems;</li><li>Hand dig using a shovel, and mechanical tools;</li><li>Ensures safety of the public and other utilities underground facilities;</li><li>Operate and work around heavy equipment and machinery including assisting the driller with the operation of the drill;</li><li>Install and maintenance of underground utilities and verify in accordance with blueprints;</li><li>Perform other duties and tasks as assigned in order to help the team complete a project.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge and experience with construction and general industry safety standards and procedures;</li><li>Must have proven experience in heavy construction equipment operations with emphasis on drilling and boring machines operations;</li><li>Read, understand, and interpret engineering plans and specifications;</li><li>Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and drive or ride in a vehicle for long periods of time;</li><li>Must be able to work independently at times and understand construction safety procedures.</li><li>Ability to work in all weather conditions;</li><li>Willing to travel to different job sites;</li><li>Must have a valid CDL.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive Rates;</li><li>Weekly payments– each Friday;</li><li>Equipment provided;</li><li>Long-term employment;</li><li>Career advancement opportunities.</li></ul> Utilitiesone Seattle WA
