Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Performs duties in alignment with the Mission and Policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, JCAHO and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies.

Performs duties necessary to coordinate hospital PBX system and its applications. Is responsible for incoming and outgoing telephone calls, overhead paging, Fire Alarms, CODES, Hospital directory and Patient inquiry.

Responsible for contacting the appropriate or designated on-call teams and or Administrator on-call. Assists outside vendors, chaplains, security and others on an as need basis.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience in a call center setting or experience working with multiple phone lines

  • High School Diploma/GED, or 2 years equivalent work experience

Special Skills:

  • Typing 35 WPM, telecommunication experience

  • Working knowledge of various phone processes (PBX and/or Switchboard)

  • Working knowledge of computer systems

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English

VIEW JOBS 8/10/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-11-08T00:00 <p>Position Title: Production Operator I</p><p>Location: Bakersfield, CA (WST86)</p><p>Shift: 1st shift</p><p>How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?</p><p>The Gas Cylinder Operator I will assist in the cylinder requalification and repair process and manually and/or with the aid of material handling equipment move industrial gas cylinders to different areas of the plant and loads/unloads cylinders from delivery trucks. You will be responsible for the following tasks and other tasks as assigned:</p><ul><li><p>Perform cylinder cleaning, painting and general maintenance regularly.</p></li><li><p>Identify and sort cylinders for efficient retesting and handling.</p></li><li><p>Safely operate forklift, hand-truck, pallet-jack, chain hoist, etc. to load/unload compressed and liquid industrial gas cylinders to and from delivery trucks to testing and storage areas.</p></li><li><p>May load cylinders onto vehicles manually or with the aid of material handling equipment.</p></li><li><p>Transfer plant cylinders to different areas within the facility using a forklift.</p></li><li><p>Notify the supervisor if normal truck loading duties cannot be accomplished for any reason.</p></li><li><p>Replace pallet straps as necessary.</p></li><li><p>Complete required paperwork accurately and as needed.</p></li><li><p>Report any equipment or facility defect(s) to supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Ensure any accident or injury is promptly reported.</p></li></ul><p>Are you a MATCH?</p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is preferred</p></li><li><p>Minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training preferred • Must be customer service oriented and able to interact with fellow Associates in a professional manner</p></li><li><p>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be detailed-oriented with good organizational skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, MSDS, and procedure manuals</p></li><li><p>Possess basic mathematic and written skills</p></li></ul><p>About Airgas</p><p>Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products; one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products.</p><p>Through the passion and diversity of its 18,000 associates, Airgas fosters a culture of safety, customer success, sustainability and innovation.
