What#s it like to work at RRH?: Nurses | Kern County Hospitals JOB SUMMARY: The Telemedicine Site Coordinator will be responsible for all activities involving specialty consultation and patient services, including but not limited to scheduling, registration, Policy and Procedures, data collection and analysis, general patient and provider support, as well as good telephone and communication skills. QUALIFICATIONS: 1.# Experience in healthcare and/or community organization. 2.# Proven track record in developing positive community relations and in developing successful coordination between agencies or individuals and providers of health services. 3.# Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4.# Excellent computer skills and an ability to learn and understand the general technical requirements of the telemedicine system. The ability to provide basic technical support and to refer more difficult problems to appropriate staff. 5.# Organizational skills - prioritize workload and meeting deadlines, developing and carrying out project assignments in an efficient and timely manner, and providing accurate and succinct documentation of activities. 6.# Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, clinical and technical staff and positively represent Ridgecrest Regional Hospital to external organizations and remote sites. 7.# Skilled at exercising tact, courtesy and diplomacy when dealing with individuals at any level within or outside the hospital. 8.# Ability to analyze financial data and compile accurate reports to meet monthly deadlines. 9.# Diplomacy skills and experience in working with a wide variety of individuals in stressful and challenging situations. 10. Analytical skills to independently and tactfully assume responsibility for coordination and completion of complex projects requiring interaction with any individuals within and outside the organization. 11.# Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, use independent and mature judgment. 12.# Ability to work with minimal direction and to take the initiative to follow-up on projects. 13.# Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language.
