We are currently seeking a Telehealth RN.


  • Based on area of assignment, two years of hospital experience may be required. Must meet unit specific performance competencies.


  • Graduate from an approved school of nursing. Assumes responsibility for professional development and continuing education.


  • Maintains current Florida RN license, and BLS/Healthcare Provider certification are required.
  • ACLS certification for adult critical care areas. PALS required for Pediatric Critical Care areas. NRP required for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). (See unit specific requirements for specialty certification).

Essential Functions

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses patients' needs when developing an individualized plan of care for each patient.

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, assesses the data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the necessary information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs.

  • The RN prescribes, delegates, coordinates and documents patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful and consistent manner. This includes but is not limited to: patient assessment, education, medication administration, treatments and patient safety.

  • The RN demonstrates competency in nursing skills and use of patient care/unit equipment as defined by unit specific requisite skills.

  • Prioritizes patient care in an ongoing manner in accordance with Evidence Based Practice Standards of Care.

  • Practices effective problem identification and resolution.

  • Delegates tasks and duties to healthcare team members in accordance with the patient's needs and the team member's capabilities and qualifications.

  • The RN communicates appropriate information regarding patient condition or unit concerns to other health care team members.

  • Maintains a safe and caring environment for both patients and family.

  • Integrates patient and family education throughout the delivery of care.

  • The RN participates in Process Improvement activities as assigned.

  • Demonstrates awareness of legal issues, patients' rights and compliance with the standards of regulatory and accrediting agencies.

  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

  • Practices efficient use of supplies and maintains a clean, safe and organized unit.

  • Provides input into staff development needs, hospital and/or nursing committees, nursing research activities, performance.

The position requires a strong focus on assisting the clinics Physicians with the clients in-home medication management, disease process education and general care coordination. The Field Telemedicine Care Coordinator will provide clinical case management services, including: telehealth assessments, education, and client advocating. The Field Telemedicine Care Coordinator will see clients in their home and coordinate telemedicine visits under the supervision of our clinic physicians.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location: Orlando, FL. </strong></p><p><strong>Status: PRN </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Field Telemedicine Care Coordinator Primary Responsibilities Include:</strong></p><ul> <li> Complete a Physician directed Telemedicine assessment during the in-home visit with each client.</li> <li> Provide ongoing medication management in coordination with the clinic physicians.</li> <li> Provide outstanding client support, and maintain both telephonic and face-to-face contact with each client.</li> <li> Submit all required paperwork within 24 hours of completing any client contact or visit.</li> <li> Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate after hour or weekend needs of the client.</li> <li> Be willing to travel throughout the assigned territory in support of the Healthcare clinic.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li> An experienced Registered Nurse with in-home geriatric case management experience will be considered.</li> <li> A minimum of 2 years’ experience in home healthcare.</li> <li> Ability to work with minimal supervision.</li> <li> Ability to use electronic applications and software programs, including Electronic Medical Records.</li> <li> Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.</li> <li> A home computer with in-home internet.</li> <li> A valid driver’s license, car insurance and personal vehicle.</li> </ul> Crucial Care Orlando FL
