A non-profit education management organization has a current position open for a Telecommuting English Adjunct Instructor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:
Conduct classes in accordance with established syllabi and lesson plans
Prepare, administer and grade assignments, quizzes and tests
Advise students regarding academic matters
Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's degree
A current working knowledge of all theory and practical applications for courses
Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and through appropriate electronic media
Ability to work successfully in a team environment
Hold the appropriate degree for courses being taught, as stipulated by ACCSC

This course is scheduled to be taught in winter 2019 quarter on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00 3:50 PM. Winter quarter 2019 begins January 7, 2019 and ends March 22, 2019, with a final exam scheduled by the University between March 19 and March 22, 2019. Salary for the position is $4,000/course. Candidates should be able to teach the history of freedom of expression, freedom of expression theory, First Amendment law, libel, privacy law, copyright, trademark, broadcast regulations, cable regulations, advertising law, and laws pertaining to newsgathering.
