A non-profit education management organization has a current position open for a Telecommuting English Adjunct Instructor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:
Conduct classes in accordance with established syllabi and lesson plans
Prepare, administer and grade assignments, quizzes and tests
Advise students regarding academic matters
Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's degree
A current working knowledge of all theory and practical applications for courses
Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and through appropriate electronic media
Ability to work successfully in a team environment
Hold the appropriate degree for courses being taught, as stipulated by ACCSC

The department consists of 23 Tenure Track faculty as well as Teaching, Clinical, Research, and Adjunct faculty. Our Ph.D. program has about 50 students and we have approximately 500 undergraduate majors. The University operates on a quarter system. Position Summary The Department of Psychology at the University of Denver is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2018-2019 academic year to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses. Example courses include Introduction to Clinical Psychology, Introduction to Social Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology. Job requirements including teaching twice a week, holding office hours, assigning papers and exams as appropriate and being available to assist students with assignments. The University operates on a quarter system. The salary is $4,000/course. Required Qualifications * Master's degree. * Previous teaching experience. * Ability to teach at the university level.
