A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Regional Sales Manager (Emerging Market).

Must be able to:
Prospect to a set of new business accounts within an assigned territory
Build rapport, book appointments, and evangelize the company's unique solution
Present product demonstrations both in person and via the web
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Travel for customer demonstrations
6+ years proven, successful sales experience in a B2B / solution sales environment
Background selling Talent Management Systems, Recruiting solutions, HRIS or CRM
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Experience developing a territory: identifying and qualifying opportunities; pursuing conversion of qualified leads to customers with monthly recurring revenue
Bachelor's degree

Job Description: 3M is seeking a Regional Distribution Leader for the Industrial and Safety Market Center, Midwest Zone – located in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Summary: The person hired for the position of Regional Distribution Leader for the ISMC Midwest Zone will connect with multiple corporate functions and lead continuous improvement efforts between 3M field sales and our channel partners, headquartered in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. They will utilize multi-functional resources in division and external accounts and leverage resources and thinks creatively and strategically to optimize channel growth. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a 3M career. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Introduces new and existing 3M products and solutions to the key channel partners * Identifies competitive share opportunities and creates plans to win share * Develops & executes plans to deliver merchandising plan strategy for the channel partner * Maps and identifies opportunities to strengthen the relationships between 3M and channel * Establishes region and territory sales goals and objectives for Channel and Sales Reps. * Coaches local sales team on activities driving key objectives to meet sales results * Helps to develop channel Account Business plan based on priorities * Leading change and execution of Industrial Customer Specialist sales model * Strong presentation/communication skills * Project Management & Key Account Planning * Business Intelligence & Organizational Relationship * Financial Acumen, Influence, Communicating Value Basic Qualifications: * Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution * Minimum of three (3) years of sales and/or marketing in a private, public, government, or military environment * Current, Valid Drivers license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in business or business administration * Experience in Project Management/operations * Strong financial acumen, influence, communicating value, presentation, communication Location: Des Moines, Iowa (Remote Based) Sales Territory: Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota Travel: May include up to 20% overnight travel Relocation: Is authorized within country per 3M policies Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status) Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
