This position is for a senior business development professional within our Integrated Tactical Networks team for the Communications, Navigation and Guidance business. The environment is fast-paced, technical and challenging. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of the US DoD requirements, budget and procurement processes, and be comfortable interacting with DoD subject matter experts in all areas of the acquisition process.
Develop company market requirements for highly technical and complex communications products, systems and solutions. This includes the development of product, systems and solution based strategies, requirements analysis, and "Real, Win, Worth" analysis.
Lead the development and execution of Business Development Plans to include product / system / solution positioning and requirements shaping in the marketplace.
Support business plan development and execution with internal engineering and program management teams.
Reduce broad concepts and strategic initiatives into actionable Business Development Plans that identify strategic inflection points in the marketplace for core and non-traditional business initiatives.
Provide technical assistance and marketing support to the sales organization in Pursuit Order Capture activities.
Work as part of a combined team as the principal business development lead along with program managers and engineering leads to uncover, pursue, and capture new business in the integrated communication systems market.
Be responsible for developing, forecasting, and capturing new opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Create customer contact plans and influence relevant customer organizations on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives relating to integrated communication systems and networked solutions.
Develop and present compelling strategic and business growth opportunities that may include market and competitive analysis via decision point reviews.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in theappropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.

Travel up to 40% may be required
Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligible.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an engineering or technical discipline
Familiarity with fixed site radios as part of an integrated communications system is a benefit
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong background in tactical military radio communication systems, integrated communication systems requirements, and US DoD CONOPS.
Demonstrated experience in networks and networked communication systems architectures, especially the US Army (or DoD) vision for networked air-ground communication interoperability at the battalion/brigade/division level, to include the Integrated Tactical Network (ITN).
Experience with US Army organizations such as CECOM, PEO C3T , Network Cross-Functional Team (CFT), or Army Futures Command is highly desired.
