Wanted: A experienced technical professional to join our team as our Telecommunications/Unified Comminications Engineer.

A week in the life includes:

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to facilitate planning, design, installation, modification, procurement, and operation of various data networking and Unified communications (UC) devices.

  • Be well versed in VoIP/UC environments and data networks, based primarily on Cisco Systems technology.

  • Troubleshoot network devices, to include coordinating technical resources from the manufacturer.

  • Act as a technical lead, providing guidance and direction to less experienced engineers and field technicians.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent and minimum of 5 years experience with enterprise data communications, network security, and telecommunications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise and standalone Cisco UC solutions

  • Minimum of 2 years experience configuring and installing Cisco IOS-based routers and switches

  • Demonstrated understanding of traditional TDM technology and PBX systems, wireless solutions, and cabling distribution systems

  • CCNA-Routing & Switching certification (within 6 months of hire)

  • CompTia Security+, CCNA-Security, or CISSP certification or able to obtain within 90 days of hire

  • Secret clearance

  • Availability to travel upon request (50%)

Experience and/or substantial understanding of Lab system principles and common system vendors’ available products with the ability to engage the vendor for additional support when required.<br /> f. Knowledge and experience administrating systems per defined SOPs: Lab Execution System (SmartLab), Empower, NuGenesis, Trackwise, Document Management System (DCA) is strongly encouraged.<br /> g. Skills and experience working in diverse, multi-disciplined work groups, able to prioritize and allocate their time to meet the business day-to-day demands in a fast paced environment.<br /> h.
