Department Summary
The Telecommunications Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of voice, data, and network systems across the university campus. This role involves running, terminating, and splicing cables; installing telecommunications equipment; troubleshooting technical issues; and maintaining accurate inventory records. The technician will also assist with aerial and underground cable installation and splicing as needed.
