Telecommunications Support Analyst

The Service Desk team at C.H. Robinson is looking for a Telecommunications Support Analyst who will respond to and fix issues for telecommunication and mobile devices. In this role, you will provide and create a positive end-user experience, work to solve problems and collaborate with and escalate complex issues to the Sr. Telecommunications Support Analyst. As C.H. In order to accomplish this, the ideal candidate will be customer centric, accountable, adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze issues, determine root cause, and take action to fix problems related to telecommunication and mobile device systems' software and hardware.

  • Work with users to analyze the issue, research to find a resolution and guide them through the steps to resolve.

  • Work directly with the vendor to resolve plan discrepancies or mobile device issues.

  • Test and evaluate new telecommunication hardware and software through direction from senior team members.

  • With the direction from senior team members contribute to improving telecommunication policies and procedures by analyzing the current work, attending transition meetings, and raising issues regarding how users use the hardware and software.

  • Draft knowledge base articles in partnership with content management team to support rollout of policy changes.

  • Partner with senior team members to coordinate setting up equipment for new employees and help implement software changes.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess two or four year degree in a technical field or is in the process of completing a degree with 2 years of comparable work experience

  • Minimum 1 year work experience with voice infrastructure

  • Minimum 1 year experience troubleshooting telecommunication hardware and software systems

  • Minimum 1 year experience troubleshooting mobile device hardware and software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Troubleshooting experience with Avaya Phone systems, iPhone and Android Devices

  • Customer service oriented with verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding of telecommunication systems, commonly used concepts, practices and procedures

  • Ability to perform technical analysis of software, hardware related to telecommunication and mobile devices

  • Able to collaborate with other teams and build relationships with the business and IT

  • Experience working in a geographically and culturally diverse team

  • Strong organization, prioritization, self-motivation, and problem resolution skills

  • Experience with Network or VoIP Certification
