Sentinel is seeking a responsible individual for assisting the Senior Telecommunications Specialist with daily telecommunications-related tasks and duties for the Agency to ensure compliance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations. You will be handling all vendor complaints and inquires as well as crisis situations in consultation with his/her supervisory chain and in compliance with Agency/Programmatic policies and procedures and treats each case with sensitivity and expedience. This is a contract role located in Chicago, IL.
Preferred Relevant Education Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Relevant Education Associate's Degree
3+ years' experience in Telecommunications
3 years' experience in personal computers
Support knowledge of Telecommunications equipment.
Minimum Relevant Experience 2-3 Years
2 years' experience in Telecommunications
2 years' experience in personal computers
Support knowledge of Telecommunications equipment
Should ensures that Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) lines and Customer Service Records (CSR) are working properly and takes appropriate steps to resolve any issues, when necessary and may be asked to address and resolve any urgent technical support-related issues, as requested
Should provides set-up and program design for the Agency's Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) systems and programming;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude
