Telecommunications Provisioning / Design Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Telecommunications Provisioning Engineer for a contract to hire role with one of our clients in the Greater Philadelphia area.- This is a remote role, but we prefer someone based on the East Coast (Quarterly travel is required to the client and time zone availability is important).
This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a team that will help migrate current telecommunications configurations to a unified communication platform. You will be responsible for the initial site analysis through to implementation - circuit verification, feature group ordering and review.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have extensive experience with circuit provisioning through to cut-over and final disconnects in large environments multi-site environments.
You must be comfortable working in a variety of complex, enterprise environments. This role will include establishing the clients current telco services (circuit inventory and configuration) before converting (ordering, cut-over, acceptance) the applicable services to the new service.
You will be responsible for reviewing large multi-location clients current Billing Circuit inventory (PBX) and determining which circuits should/could be migrated to the new VOIP cloud vendor. You will utilize BroadSoft (BroadSoft is a leading technology innovator in cloud PBX, unified communications) software to facilitate the migration to Vonage. You will then place the order with Vonage and confirm on the back end that everything is migrated correctly. This role requires strong knowledge of feature groups as it is important to insure the existing configuration is migrated correctly.
1. Knowledge of PBX Trunking
2. Knowledge of Unified Communications Features and circuitry.
3. Ability to read Customer Service Records and develop an inventory from them
