Who You Are:

Do you have experience as a technical writer? You are someone that is great at understanding new technology and can communicate well with both the Development and Business teams. You are a facilitator for inputs into key documentation and have a strong knowledge base and an ability to work cooperatively with other teams. You are assertive and look to take ownership of the documentation processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of technical writing and editing experience.
  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, /Atlassian
  • Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to technology
  • Ability to adapt well to a diverse environment

Our ideal candidate is motivated and eager to learn, with a love of all technology related to gaming and craves to slay the beast of Tribal Knowledge which lurks in places where poor or outdated documentation lingers. Responsibilities: * Work with a cross-functional team of local and remote subject matter experts (system and sales engineers; product, QA and support engineers; program and product managers; writers) to plan, write, and edit topical information while meeting project requirements and schedules. * Conform to document creation and control processes and established quality and style standards. * Work or create standard templates to ensure documentation is consistent across all functional areas. * Perform frequent audits of documentation for each group within the team to ensure documentation is up-to-date. * Solve problems of modest scope using good judgment and the appropriately selected methods and techniques. * Support new product development. * Suggest, implement, and maintain source control for the team's document library * Create, revise, edit, and format new services documentation. * When necessary, assist team in completing Console or PC test deliverables Requirements: * Strong attention to detail. * Able to document complex concepts with few grammatical mistakes. * Understanding of various forms of source control and how to apply it to a document library. * A thorough understanding of technical concepts regarding PC and Console gaming. * Capability to run test cases and write bugs in a software testing environment. * Initiative to self-start, work independently with limited supervision and minimal instructions, and use good personal judgement to solve problems. * Ability to multi-task on different writing project which may be at various stages of completion. * Excellent written and verbal English skills for effective communication. * Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent change.
