Telecommunication Sales Engineer Liaison
Job Description

This position will report directly to the Director of Sales Engineering. As a NetFortris Sales Engineering Liaison, youll work with a team of salespeople and sales engineers enabling sales of NetFortris Hosted VOIP and Managed Network Services, A strong attention to detail, diligence in understanding a given technological application and collaboration skills with team members of varying technical knowledge levels is a must. Strong written and oral communication is required.
Duties will include:
  • Discussing from a high level overall voice and data network functions, features and design
  • Discussing the NetFortris HVOIP platforms and network offerings with internal salespeople
  • Analysis of customer voice and data network designs and/or associated requests
  • Working with sales engineering or salespeople/partners to detail the elements to be quoted for a given prospect
  • Working with sales team members to assist in quoting and contract creation with regard to the sales process from prospecting to sale to ops handoff
  • Working with Presales and SalesOps team to clear any questions between what to quote and what the customer/partner is requesting
  • Confirming and approving solution line items so as to ensure all relevant items are sold for a given solution
  • Acting as single point of contact for the sales team in order to provide status updates and facilitate escalations
Degree Requirement: Bachelors Degree preferred
Skill Requirements
  1. Basic understanding of hosted and non-hosted PBX system features and implementation
  2. Basic understanding of data circuit services and network types
  3. Basic familiarity with SIP protocol
  4. Basic understanding of WAN and LAN
  5. Strong written and verbal communicator in English
  6. Comfortable on the phone and presenting to C-Level, VP and Director titled associates
  7. Works well in a team environment and be willing to collaborate with other team members
  8. Strength and familiarity in Microsoft Excel is necessary
  9. Familiarity with multi-point deployment best practices and SMB/SME vendor selection processes a bonus
