Great opportunity to join our Turf project office in King of Prussia, PA as a Project Controls Manager. This will be a remote position.

  • Ensures the integrity of the project budget through approved scope changes, fiscal changes and contingency reallocations

  • Reviews and approves Earned Value Data, Proposal Financial Summaries, Project Financial Status Reports, and Charge for Project Working Capital calculations for assigned projects.

  • Plans staffing needs for assigned projects.

  • Design, document, create, and maintain reports.

  • Collects and analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized budget sources, administrative commitments, and obligations

  • Prepares, coordinates, and directs Project Controls presentations to Jacobs and client management, as required.

  • Participates in the development and training of assigned personnel and in the implementation of on-the-job training programs.

  • Directs project control activities. Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives, and standards applicable to cost and schedule control and analysis activities.

  • Prepares the Project Controls plan for assigned projects.

  • Provides technical and operational direction to assigned personnel

  • Verifies overhead charges and their distribution

  • Flags significant projected overruns or underruns

  • Reviews subcontractor bids for conformity to contract requirements

  • Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • 6 years of experience required, BA or BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting or related field of expertise preferred

  • Proficient in Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Access (or similar data visualization tool) with ability to build data sets, explore data, and write advanced custom calculations

  • Previous experience in large EPC environment or Telecommunications preferred

Must be US Citizen or eligible to work for any US Employer without visa sponsorship.

Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting to 20 pounds. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same.

By joining Jacobs, you'll commit to supporting and engaging with these teams, as we work to build a company like no other. * 8 years of Planning / Scheduling experience on EPCMV life-cycle projects in the Life Sciences, Bio-Pharma industry preferred * A good understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices * Experience Working inside the Primavera (P6) scheduling tool and Schedule Analysis/Acumen Fuse * BIM 4D & 5D knowledge required * Facilitates multi-company interactive planning sessions * Creates, updates and analyzes CPM schedules and recommends work-arounds and schedule improvement ideas * Communicates schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports * Interacts with engineering and construction personnel to understand and communicate issues and conflicts that impact the schedule * Collaboratively work with PM and CMs using the schedule as a tool to help deliver the project on schedule. * Coordinate the project's earned value system with schedule updates * Uses knowledge of general application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards to perform work * Experienced in Excel and Access * Knowledge of Cost Tracking/Forecasting a plus Ideally, here's what you'll also have: * Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management) * Ability to develop cost / schedule analysis presentations both graphically, written, and verbally. * Strong communication skills and understanding of technical terminology Bring your curiosity, passion for innovation, and talent for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
