As a Telecom Engineer specializing in scripting and integration, you will play a pivotal role in the configuration management of Cisco Unified Telecom systems. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around scripting, integration, and ensuring seamless communication services for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain telecom solutions that meet the dynamic needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities: Scripting Expertise:Develop and maintain scripts to automate processes and tasks related to the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Cisco Unified Telecom systems. Integration Management:Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to integrate telecom solutions into existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and reliability.

Configuration Management:Implement and manage configuration changes across Cisco Unified Telecom systems, adhering to best practices and security protocols. Troubleshooting and Support:Investigate and resolve complex issues related to telecom systems, providing timely support and guidance to resolve technical challenges. Performance Optimization:Analyze system performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization, implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, scripts, and integration processes, and generate regular reports to track system performance and compliance. Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of telecom solutions with business objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in telecom engineering, with a focus on scripting, integration, and configuration management of Cisco Unified Telecom systems. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl, with experience in automating telecom-related tasks. In-depth knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX),Parlance and related technologies.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable. 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
