Role Overview:

The Telco Business Analyst will assist in compilation of data and performing analysis related to cost and order flow. She/he will help to identify, track and implement on savings initiatives for cost reduction, optimization and efficiencies. She/he will require the ability to both work independently on projects and coordinate and collaborate cross-departmentally.

Reporting to: Director of Business Analytics

Responsibilities:

Cost Reporting and Analysis

  • Compile and analyze numerous monthly reports and schedules

  • Evaluate, identify and propose changes for optimization and cost reduction

  • Prepare analyses for management

  • Maintain schedules for savings analysis for each of the identified programs

  • Proactively evaluate the business for additional projects and programs potential

  • Work cross-departmentally

  • Review and assimilate legal agreements

  • Produce Ad-hoc reporting for management

  • Correspond with Telco Vendors

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint required

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently

  • Comfortable presenting and explaining results and issues to all levels of company management including the Chief Revenue Officer, CFO and CEO

We are seeking an IT <strong>Business Systems Analyst </strong>to support a Navy financial business application that is critical to the Navy Comptroller's ability to execute statutory, OSD, DON and agency mandated financial management duties during the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) of resources.<br />  <br /> <strong>Responsibilities</strong>: The successful candidate will: 1) develop effective and efficient requirements and design documentation according to specifications and established standards; 2) develop accurate and efficient test case documents; and 3) support database and application developers throughout the software development lifecycle. The candidate will provide specialized PPBE/Financial Management subject matter expertise in support of the SECNAV business processes, organizational goals, and information processing requirements. The candidate will thoroughly understand business processes, application technologies, trends, and business concepts, which impact these overarching requirements. Specifically, assist in the development of strategic plans compatible with the strategic vision and goals as well as developing Operational Plans which implement those visions and goals.
