The Teen Program Coordinator (Achieve) will supervise, implement, and lead the programs and staff for the Achieve afterschool program. The Teen Program Coordinator will work directly with the Program Director to develop these programs in the middle schools and high schools in the greater Hamilton County area. It will be their responsibility to recruit, staff, and maintain the programs during the course of the school year.
Recruits, engages and directs participants per program development. Develops strategies to motivate participants and achieve goals.
Recruits, trains and mentors staff.
Ensures high quality programs through the development of innovative curriculum and impact evaluation.
Compiles program statistics. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in program.
Fosters a caring, friendly, fun, and safe environment that provides opportunities for participants to connect, develop relationships, and achieve their goals.
Assists with the development, coordination, and implementation of marketing strategies to recruit participants.
Maintains good relationships with volunteers and staff through strong communication skills.
Any other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working within youth, teen, or family programming preferred.
Experience with simple office organization and equipment, including basic computer programs including word and excel, required.
Excellent hospitality, verbal, and written communication skills. Must display high degree of professionalism and customer service.
A willingness to collaborate with multiple people to achieve the end result of bridging community gaps and create positive change in our youth.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
