Wage:

$12.00-$13.75 - Commensurate with experience

Hours:

20 hrs/week: Monday-Friday

Description:

Seeking a passionate and motivated Youth Program Lead with a focus for 5th grade-high school students. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing a variety of engaging programs and as well as collaborating with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment that empowers young individuals to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the teen and family director in creating and implementing after school and summer programs for youth of varying ages.

• Be a presence at scheduled events and build connections to further the teen and family department.

• Foster positive relationships with students by creating a welcoming and supportive environment.

• Act as a mentor and advocate, encouraging active participation and personal growth.

• Adhere to YMCA safety guidelines and ensure the well-being of all program participants.

Preferred experience:

• Experience working with youth from varying communities.

• Willing to help plan and implement new programs and activities.

• High school diploma/GED (required)

• Education and/or childcare background
